Open July 2001, this western New Jersey course is a tribute to golf's legendary designers. The Architects Golf Club is a 6,818 yard, par 71 course designed by Stephen Kay and Ron Whitten. The two picked a series of great course architects whose styles they have profiled on this course, including Old Tom Morris, C.B. MacDonald, Walter Travis, A. W. Tillinghast, Bill Flynn, Donald Ross, and Robert Trent Jones. The tree-lined, rolling fairways boast generous landing areas, and lead up to expertly manicured bentgrass greens that range in size from 4,500 to 11,000 square feet. Four sets of tees are available to challenge a variety of handicaps. |
