| Located in central New Jersey's Hunterdon county, Heron Glen Golf Course is a municipal, eighteen hole track designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, and opened for play in 2002. The championship par 72 course meanders along the floodplain of the Neshanic River, and the rolling, tree lined fairways lead to large, challenging greens. Several streams come into play throughout the course and there are nearly 60 strategically placed bunkers waiting to swallow up errant shots. The course plays from 5,172 to 7,065 yards, and there are five sets of tees to accommodate all handicaps. Heron Glen boasts extensive practice and instruction facilities, and was chosen as an LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Site. | Direction:
Follow I-78 W to I-287 S (Exit # 29) toward US 202S/206S/ Somerville. Merge onto US 202 S via Exit # 17 on the left toward US 22 W/Somerville/Flemington. When you reach the Somerville Circle, follow US 202 S toward Flemington approximately 15 miles to the Flemington Circle. At the Flemington Circle, follow 202 S approximately 5 miles to Everitt Road. Take the Everitt Road jughandle to the northbound side of 202 N. Watch the golf course sign. Turn right before the Gulf gas station. |
